United’s Armstrong Relocation, specifically the Durham NC office, is a top notch moving company with outstanding employees. It is very impressive that every employee at the Durham, NC office — the receptionist, the warehouse workers, the sales person, the moving driver, and the mover — provided excellent customer service. It felt like each person was totally accountable for their part of our move and they wanted to ensure our experience with them was above average. This is quite an achievement considering we moved at the end of June, which is a busy time for them.
Our experience with movers is vast. After relocating with employers the past few moves, we were now moving without an employer’s expense account. We had three different moving companies located in the RTP area, NC come to our house to evaluate our possessions to be moved. The outcome was that Armstrong’s price was right in line with other reliable moving companies such as Graebel and another United Mover. More importantly, Armstrong was the most thorough in pointing out potential issues for us to think about in our move so we wouldn’t deal with any unexpected costs. This is a great benefit because it is the only way to accurately provide a good moving estimate. One additional benefit to using Armstrong is that the people were enjoyable to work with and provided timely service.
Armstrong Relocation was professional from start to finish. Jason, the sales person who came to my house, provided valuable recommendations on how to save money while making the move. Also, Jason recommended picking up their used boxes from Armstrong’s Durham warehouse available for clients. This was a very nice service because boxes and packing material can be expensive and add up fast. When my husband arrived at their warehouse a couple of times, Jerry and Jerry were extremely helpful and very nice guys.
Our actual move was excellent. The driver, Patrick, and the mover, Dennis, arrived exactly as scheduled to load our things. They were professional, hardworking and helpful. Again Patrick arrived on time when making the delivery. Patrick was the best mover we have come across in our 6+ moves. In general, his work ethic, physical strength, helpfulness and flexibility surpassed our expectations…and we have extremely high standards.
If I lived in the RTP area again and needed to move anywhere in the country again, Armstrong Relocation is the only company I would use. Armstrong Relocation is THE BEST moving company to use if you live the RTP area.
